The Response Unit is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year, so that your call will always be answered. All incoming and outgoing calls to the Unit, including telephone calls, are recorded. This benefits both our customers and the Unit for service improvement and training purposes.
 
All information our customers provide is kept strictly confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The Response Unit is accredited to Parts One and Two of the Telecare Services Association’s Code Of Practice. Accreditation is revisited each year to ensure that the Unit continues to achieve required standards.


How will it help me?

If you needed assistance in your own home, the Orbit Response Unit would call a key holder. This is someone who holds a key to your property, such as a neighbour, a friend, a family member, so someone you know and trust will assist you.
 
You may need the emergency services and we can arrange this for you, whilst contacting a member of family or a friend to comfort you.
The alarm unit can be used for other reasons, not just in emergencies. If you were afraid or worried, upset or confused, our Customer Service Advisors are here 24 hours a day every day.
The alarm can be nothing but "peace of mind". Friends and family do not have to worry if you are all right, as they know you only have to press a button to receive help.
These alarm units can also be used alongside a Minicom.
 

What does it cost?

Charges are invoiced on a quarterly basis in advance. Please contact us for further information regarding payment options and charges.
 

How do I get one?

Simply contact us on the below number and we will make an appointment for our Representative to visit and demonstrate the lifeline unit. If you already have the telephone socket and power point in place and feel the alarm unit would be right for you, it will be installed on the day of the demonstration.

Interested in Our Services?
